Dr. Ernestine Sanders, senior pastor of Evangelical Christian Church in St. Albans, New York for 39 years, is an extraordinary woman leader with a wealth of experience. She has preached and conducted seminars both nationally and internationally for over 44 years. She has earned a B.A. in Primitive Religion/Comparative Religion from College of Rochelle; an M.A. in Business Administration from Commonwealth University; a Masters of Divinity from New York Theological Seminary; and a Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling from Santa Barbara University. Continuing education in Comparative Religion (Princeton), Applied Theology (Andover Newton), and Clergy and Community Awareness (Harvard) are also a part of her portfolio.
She is a past instructor for Queens College and New York Theological Seminary in the field of “Raising the Consciousness of Women.” She is a member of several boards, including Clergy United for Community Empowerment where she serves as Executive Vice-President/CEO and has authored several books.
